What have I been up to since my last post? working mainly but I did have another weekend away. I can't help myself.
Hubby had a day trip planned to go to a beer festival with his friend on 07/10, well said friends wife and I are also friends so we hijacked the weekend! and what a weekend to go to Weymouth, the weather was glorious. There was some confusion over accommodation when we got there but it was easily sorted. it was a 2 night trip but felt like a real break. It also, unknown to us, was pirate weekend!
Had a thoroughly lovely time and before we knew it it was time to come home and get back to work. I've had a temporary promotion which is proving very tiring so I am taking advantage of a long weekend to escape to see my Cornish friend. Its' one of those rare occasions where my non-working day falls on a Friday one week and a Monday the following week.
My life does seem to be a balance between going to work and going away at present. I'm very conscious that I am lucky in the current economic climate and with all the horrendous things happening around the world I did ponder not posting this. but to be honest this is my life and I like to record it on my blog.
