Hello May.

I am hoping it will be a quieter month for me. I do love my holidays but I also like some quiet time.We have nothing planned for May other than the first run out in the van to get it up and ready for the coming camping season. Just a little 3 night trip to one of our favourite local sites to make sure everything is as it should be before we start to venture further afield.

As I plan to be home more this month I decided to cast on a new knit project. I don't really need a new knit project, I already have a few on the go, but I was craving some bright colours. I had seen this pattern

the 'Cloud Sweater' and really liked it. it looks just the sort of comfy snug sweater that I would wear on chilly nights sat outside of the van. I went onto ravelry to look at different yarn options, and this is what I ended up buying

Drops air and Drops kid silk . What a colour! absolutely not what I would normally buy but I actually love it. As its an Aran weight its knitting up pretty quickly

Its an interesting pattern and i am really going to enjoy knitting this, I may just be a monogamous knitter this month!

I've also pulled out a book from my 'to read' pile. for the Month of May. I've lost my reading mojo lately, which is very unlike me, and as a result I'm spending far too much time on my phone. 

I've read this author before so am sure I am going to enjoy it once I have started. Currently it remains unstarted on my night stand! May be today's the day I pick it up.....
