A sneaky weekend away.

Stan the van was up for it so we set off to Minchinhampton with some friends, we stayed at Tobacconists Farm for 2 nights. It's a great site with some lovely neighbours ! The village is only a 5 minute walk and then a few more minutes and you are on Minchinhampton Common.

Despite on and off showers and the wind we had a great time. We managed to sit out on Friday night and even managed some star spotting, no meteors or shooting stars to be seen though. Saturday we headed out for a walk then took cover in the local pub and sat out the Showers. We had a lazy afternoon and evening before heading home on Sunday Morning.

I love these minibreaks, I am so grateful to have a little motorhome to be able to shoot off after work on a Friday for a change of scenery.

  2. Looks wonderful. I don't blame you grabbing every opportunity to go away in Stan the Van, just a tad envious here :)
