A weekend at Uphill.

Yep, another blooming trip post. Now you can see why I've not been blogging much, I've been working all week and galivanting off at Weekend's...

The weekend before last we went down to Uphill Marina campsite, This is local to us, about a 45-minute drive away. It's a very well-kept site and again on coastal paths. Can you see a theme with my weekends away?

We arrived on Saturday just after lunch and after we had set up we walked into the nature reserve and up to uphill fort.

We then went into the old church of St Nicholas and walked down into Uphill village.

Back on site we were treated to a lovely sunset.

Sunday was walk into Weston day, we wanted to go and look at 'See Monster'

We didn't go on as there was a que and also it was metal grating and Rosies little paws would probably have fallen through some of the gaps.  It was quite a spectacle though. After a good walk around, we headed down the beach in search of a coffee and some lunch.

Then it was back off to site for another lovely relaxing evening.

This was our penultimate weekend away. There is just one more adventure in Stan before he hibernates for the winter. Unless of course we have a mild winter then we may well brave some weekends away.

  1. Hopefully we will have an Indian Summer so you can have more weekends away.
